Dear UCRFS and eBuy Campus Users,

Accounting, Academic Planning and Budget, Materiel Management and Computing and Communications are pleased to announce that the upgraded campus financial and purchasing systems (UCRFS and eBuy) are now in production and available for use.

You may access these systems by visiting the campus administrative portal, iViews (iviews.ucr.edu).

Please recall that access to UCRFS and eBuy is established by campus Systems Access Administrators (SAAs) using the Enterprise Access Control System (EACS). Once you've logged into iViews, you will be presented with links to UCRFS and eBuy (if you log in and don't see these links, please request access from your SAA). For more information on EACS (including a complete list of campus SAAs), please visit the iViews portal and click on the Enterprise Access Control System link.

Various groups and individuals have been working almost round-the-clock to ensure a smooth transition to the new systems. Nevertheless, despite these efforts, some problems will undoubtedly arise in the weeks ahead. If you experience trouble, please take the following steps (the notes below are also presented on the UCRFS upgrade site, nc.ucr.edu/upgrade):

1. PLEASE TURN OFF ALL POP UP BLOCKERS WHEN USING IVIEWS, UCRFS, TRAVEL, EACS, AND EBUY.

2. Please visit cnc.ucr.edu/upgrade, click on HELP, and see if the problem you're experiencing has been reported and whether or not a solution exists.

3. If the problem has not been reported, please send an e-mail to upgradehelp@ucr.edu. When you send your mail, please include the following:

** System accessing (e.g. NCT, BEA, EACS).

** Description of the functionality in question (e.g. running a report, saving, printing, logging in).

** Detailed description of the problem including any error messages.

** Description of your technical environment (operating system and browser).

** Your name and phone number.

4. If the issue you're attempting to resolve requires immediate attention, please visit cnc.ucr.edu/upgrade and click on HELP to view a list of contacts and phone numbers.

Please note that the PAMIS "Submit BEA" feature is currently not available
(12/22 and 12/23); C&C and Accounting are working to ensure seamless integration between the new version of UCRFS and the campus extramural funds database. We hope to release this PAMIS functionality very shortly.

Thank you for your patience and consideration during the weeks ahead. The new systems hold great promise for enhancing the effectiveness of UCR's administrative environment, and please rest assured that we will work diligently to resolve any and all problems as they arise.
