STATE FARES 

The State of California has a contract with selected airlines for special negotiated rates and conditions covering certain specific routes known as City Pairs.  These City Pairs cover many of the most frequently traveled routes between cities inside and outside of California. Employees and non-employees who travel on University business are eligible to use these fares.  In 2007/08, State-contracted YCAL and VCAL airfares are available with American, Jet Blue, United, and US Air.
 
PLEASE NOTE:    Southwest Airlines does not offer contracted fares for the 2007/08 year however they're committed to maintaining cost effective fares for the State of California.  Rates remain competitive for many of the primary California routes.  All University of California business travelers are encouraged to use Southwest and SWABIZ whenever possible as a cost saving travel resource.

This program can only be processed through a state approved travel agency and effective July 1, 2005, we partnered with Sunward Adventures Travel agency for this program.
